How to Help

Thank you so much for your support! Here are things that you can do that will help raise money for our kids:

1) GOODSEARCH/GOODSHOP: Do your web searching on www.goodsearch.com . On the homepage in the second window where it says "Who do you goodsearch for?", type in Alexsander Academy. We get paid for every search you do, so please pass the word! If you are an online shopper, please use the goodshop feature of this site. Shop at almost any store including Walmart, Target, Office Depot, Toys R Us, even Amazon and Ebay!  We get a percentage of every purchase made through goodshop!

2) BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION: Please save these labels from many food and other grocery items. We get paid for every label we send in. For a list of box tops for education items, please go to www.boxtops4education.com . There is huge list of products you are likely to already be using such as Cheerios, Hefty, Ziplock, and Yoplait yogurt. 

3) ATLANTA GAS LIGHT: If you are using Atlanta Gas Light as your natural gas provider you can sign up to be part of their True Blue schools program. Go to www.trueblueschools.com to sign up. All you need is your account number and in less than 5 minutes you can help our school earn money. We get $40 for every customer that signs up and chooses our school as well as $5 a month for every month after that!

4) Decide how your tax dollars are spent! The State of GA gives you the power to do this by allowing you to redirect some or all of your state taxes to set up scholarships for students at Alexsander Academy! You make a scholarship donation and The State of GA will give you back every single dollar. You even get to take the Federal deduction which helps many SAVE money on their taxes! Do you own a business? If your business is making quarterly tax deposits you can redirect up to 75% of those taxes directly into scholarships for our school. 5) MAKE A DONATION: Make a donation and get it back from the state of GA! A bill recently passed in Georgia which allows taxpayers to redirect a portion of their tax dollars to support private education. As a single person you can donate up to $1,000 and as a couple you can donate up to $2,500. You designate a school or even a child to receive this money. Then you get a dollar for dollar tax credit back from the state of GA when you file your taxes. If you donate to the school you even get a federal tax deduction as well. You could SAVE money on your taxes and help Alexsander Academy set up scholarships to help children attend our school.
