Academic Overview

Alexsander Academy is an academically focused, accredited, full day school program for students who have had difficulty learning in more traditional environments.

Students learn in large group, small group and one on one as needed to access the curriculum at each student’s individual level. All areas of the content are done each day and include math, language arts, reading, science and social studies. The curriculum is based on the standards set by the GA Department of Education but is tailored to each students academic functioning level. The emphasis is on remediation with the goal of moving all students toward grade level academics in all areas. Students who need more one on one support to achieve academic success must be independent during non academic portions of the day.
